1. |
The board of the W.L.C.U.S. shall be comprised of 9 members (one of whom must be a youth representative) to be elected by the general assemble at an Annual General Meeting every two years and of those members appointed by associations as stated in these by-laws. |

| 2. | The immediate past president of the association is automatically a voting board member in the newly elected board for the duration of two years of its mandate. This position is only for one term period (2 years) immediately after this member has served his/her duration as a presidents. | |

Any association of Canadians of Lebanese descent, duly registered in Alberta for a period of at least one year that submits a list of ten individual or five family memberships of its members to the World Lebanese Cultural Union Society-Edmonton, has the right to appoint one representative to the board of directors upon notifying the WLCU-E in writing as to the name of that person two weeks prior to the election date. This assoclation's representative shall have all the privileges of any elected board member except running for an executive position. |

Board members shall serve for a period of two years. |
