A committee
comprised of five (5) people, including past presidents, none of whom is
seeking a position on the new board, shall be the election committee.
This committee is to plan, organize and run the elections in a fair and
neutral fashion with initial direction and consultation with the
present board. |

Members
of the WLCU-E have the right to run for election to the board of
directors and to the Executive upon completion of one year membership
starting the date of payment received by WLCU-E for membership. |

Election day
is designated as the last Sunday of January - every two years. |
| 3. |
Nominations
for the Board must be submitted by individuals and associations at least
two weeks before election day. |
| 4. |
Membership
deadline is two weeks before election day. |
| 5. |
Only
elected, not appointed, board members are eligible for executive
positions. |
| 6. |
The
past-president, while automatically becoming a member of the new board,
must declare his/her candidacy two weeks prior to the election day
if he/she wishes to run for an executive position and forego his
automatic board position in any case. He/she must run for the
general elections to be able to run for an executive position. |
